Katherine Nixon and her team are dedicated to Your Financial Future!
While still in college, Katherine Nixon began her career in public accounting. In 1990, she started her own firm providing business consulting and complex tax reporting as the cornerstones of her services. Today, her firm is known as SETFS.
In 2010, SETFS ranked 20th in the Aggie 100 by Mays Business School. The Aggie 100 annually honors the top 100 fastest growing Aggie-owned or led businesses in the world*.
Today, we provide a wide variety of tax and financial services. We help individuals, executors, fiduciaries, and business owners know the law, allowing them to take advantage of all possible deductions and pay only the taxes they legally owe. Owner and Founder
Katherine Nixon holds a BBA from Texas A&M University in Accounting. She is certified as a professional coach (CPC) and a project management professional (PMP©).

Brad Heilhecker
Individual Tax Services
Brad joined the firm as the first employee in 1990. He Now serves as the Individual Tax Services Manager and the Financial Services back office support. Brad enjoys utilizing his 28 years’ experience in tax preparation in the service of our loyal clients.

Criss Johnson
Business Accounts Manager
Criss joined the team in 2014 and now serves at the Business Tax and Bookkeeping Manager in addition to his role as an individual tax professional. He enjoys working with and providing value to clients.

Jessica Lafferty
Office Manager
Jessica graduated from Texas A&M University in 2017 with a business degree from MAYS business school, joining the SETFS team in August of 2017. Jessica is responsible for marketing, digital media, administrative duties, and back office support for SETFS.
She will be attending University of Houston's Law School for the 2019 fall semester.
